Motorist injured as car overturns

A 23-year-old man from Mosta was hospitalised late on Sunday after he lost control of his Volkswagen Golf car, which overturned. The police said the accident happened at 11.30pm in Triq Louis Wettinger, Mellieħa. The motorist was assisted by rescuers of the Civil Protection Department and hospitalised in a serious condition.
