A 25-year-old man was grievously injured when he fell into a shaft in a garage in Santa Venera. The police said the man fell around one storey down a shaft on Triq Ħal Qormi at around 12.30pm. The Indian national, who lives in Lija, was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital. Police investigations are ongoing.
At around 12.30pm on Monday, the Police were informed that assistance was needed at a garage in Triq Ħal Qormi, Santa Venera. The Police went to the scene and from preliminary investigations it resulted that a 25-year-old Indian man, residing in Lija, fell about one storey into a shaft.
