On Maundy Thursday, as Christians recall the final hours before the Crucifixion, Luke's Gospel offers one of the most haunting and prophetic moments in the Passion narrative. As Jesus carried the Cross towards Calvary, bruised and condemned, he turned to the women mourning him and said: "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves
