A man was seriously injured after falling off a bastion in Valletta, the police said. The accident took place at 3.45am on Monday. The police said that the man, aged 25 from Switzerland, had fallen off the bastion in St Sebastian Street. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Magistrate Marsanne Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
