Thefts in Malta drop to decades-low in 2025, Minister says

The number of reported thefts in Malta fell significantly in 2025, reaching the lowest level recorded in decades, according to information provided in Parliament by Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri. Responding to a parliamentary question from Opposition MP Ivan Bartolo, Camilleri said theft cases declined sharply compared with the previous year
