Eddy Privitera of Naxxar writes: It is an open secret that former PN leader and prime minister, Eddie Fenech Adami, at that time opposition leader, had accepted the entrenchment of  the neutrality and non-alignment clause in Malta’s constitution. Otherwise the clause giving the political party which wins the majority of votes, the right to govern even
