Nearly 200 licences issued and 1,700 inspections carried out in 2025, says SCSA

The Social Care Standards Authority (SCSA) issued around 200 licences in 2025 to operators providing community-based social care services, the Ministry for Social Policy said in a statement. The Authority carried out 1,762 inspections during the year, with most focusing on disability services, child services, domestic violence support, and addiction-related
